Current State of the Direct Selling Industry


Growing at a rate of 175000 a week in the US along it’s never been better. Globally, it’s half a million a week. Gone are the days of the unethical practices that used to take advantage of people and families. Not to say they are not scams out there. I ran into one of them the other day, but they are in no way associated with the direct selling industry. With congressional law put in place, and more importantly organizations like DSA (Direct Selling Association) policing their own, the direct selling industry has changed the as a whole to a wonderful way to make a living without having answer to someone else, or limited on what your worth. And the perception is now of not only legitimate companies, but the products they produce are of the highest quality. The ingredients that are put in the products are not like you can find in any retail store. They almost always come in much greater concentrations yet balanced for public use that only the rich usually have access to, and can afford the excessive prices that come with them. That is just one example, but some of, if not the best candles, health products, and now with Talk Fusion, technology products comes from direct selling companies. That’s why 1 of 4 people purchase from a direct selling company, and I think the if a very conservative estimate. People love the product, and they tell others. It’s word of mouth advertising.
